Overtime Thoughts - 2/26

As was pointed out in the comments, A.J. Stewart has quit the Kentucky basketball team. Uhhh, this can't be good for the Cats. Stewart isn't exactly a great player that will be missed, but this is starting to become a disturbing trend with Gillispie and players quitting/leaving. It also makes one wonder if there will be more defections before long.

In Big East action:
Cincinnati beat West Virginia 65-61

Around the top 25:
#4 Memphis won at UAB 71-60
#21 Washington took down #11 Arizona St 73-70 in OT
#14 Wake Forest beat NC State 85-78
Michigan upset #16 Purdue 87-78
#17 Gonzaga beat Santa Clara 81-73
#19 UCLA held on to beat Stanford 76-71
#20 Illinois defeated Minnesota 52-41
#22 Xavier beat St. Joseph's 68-54
#23 Butler crushed Youngstown State 78-57

It was ruled today that Mike Vick will be able to spend the last 2 months of his sentence under home confinement. I guess if I had to spend 2 months in "prison" I'd like to spend it in a $748,100 home, which is the least valuable of Vick's four homes.

Tom Brady married supermodel Gisele Bundchen today. Bundchen is the highest paid supermodel in the world with earnings of over $35 million per year.

The NBA took out a $200 million loan.

Tim Clark beat Tiger Woods today 4 and 2 in the 2nd round of the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship.

The Louisville baseball team plays at home Friday at 2 PM versus Bowling Green. You all should try to make it out. They got $1 beers and $1 hot dogs during the game out in left field.
